Auberlane was born from one stubborn winter and a single oversized cardigan that never came off. We believe cold-weather dressing should feel as good as it looks — so we curate cozy, considered knitwear designed to be lived in, layered, and worn from the first crisp morning of fall through the depths of winter.
Who we are
Auberlane is an independently operated online boutique based in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are a small team, not a warehouse chain, and every email you send is read by a person. We do not manufacture our own garments — we curate them from a network of specialty apparel partners, which is how a small shop can offer a full seasonal range without a full seasonal markup.
What we sell
Soft ribbed V-necks, chunky cable knits, turtlenecks, easy cardigans, quilted and faux-leather jackets, tailored blazers, coats, and denim, in warm, wearable tones. Sweaters and knitwear sit at the heart of the collection, with tops, bottoms and outerwear chosen to layer together. No loud logos, no fast-fashion noise.
How we choose
We are pickier than we need to be. Before a piece earns a place in the collection we ask three questions: Is it soft enough to actually want to wear? Does the cut work on a real body, not a mannequin? Does it layer with what is already in your wardrobe? If it misses on any of the three, it does not make the cut — which is why our range stays curated rather than crowded.
Sizing
Most styles run from S to 2XL, and many go up to 3XL. A few knits are one-size. Every product page carries its own inch-based size chart, and our Size Guide has full measurements. Our knits have a relaxed fit — if you are between sizes and want it closer to the body, size down. Not sure? Email us before you order and we will help you pick.

Caring for your knits
Good knitwear rewards a little care: a cold hand-wash or a gentle wool cycle in a mesh bag, then lay flat to dry. Always check the care label on your garment, and follow the care notes on the product page.
